Nice quiet stay, the cabin is just off the road, but it was a quiet stay.

We had an amazing vacation and wonderful stay at the Paradise Point 1, one of the Mountain Laurel Chalets this past week! It was relaxing, fun and we didn’t want to go back home!! We’ll definitely be coming back again as soon as we can get away!! The management was helpful, very gracious, and awarded US with huge discounts to area attractions!! Couldn’t be happier with our stay, we would recommend visiting Mtn. Laurel Chalets to anyone!

Experience was great! Celebrated our wedding anniversary a few weeks early. Everything worked properly; the bed was comfy, the tvs worked, wi-fi worked, and the hot tub was the best of all! Was also able to wash most of our clothes before returning home and took advantage of the pool pass at South Baden on 2 days of our stay. Quiet and cozy place but also 5 minutes from the parkway.

Very nice and clean. Very relaxing. Unit needs some minor things. Drawer on stove needs to be repaired and hot and cold water in shower is backwards. Other than that, it is the perfect little place!

Paradise Point I is a beautiful chalet with large windows so the view can be enjoyed at all times. As a one bedroom it is a fantastic place for a little getaway. Our cleaning crew does a fantastic job with the houses, and we are glad that they were able to assist in making your vacation fun and relaxing. Yes! Paradise point is a fantastic place to say if you want to be close to the downtown area and activities that Gatlinburg has to offer. We love the large windows in the living room that allow you to see the beautiful view, and the hot tub is only a short walk away underneath a quaint little gazebo. This is the perfect place to stay for a quiet couples weekend getaway, and we are so glad that you enjoyed your time with us. We hope to see you again soon!

There were several issues with this chalet that would make me to not recommend to others. First the pool table upstairs is not level and the pool sticks need replacing, one of the eyes on the stove doesn’t work, the replacement toaster we received was not very good, the overall cleanliness of the cabin was not very good. Dust on bathroom fixtures, moldy looking shower curtain that was too long for the tub, dust under bed had been there a while. We did like the bed but the sitting couch cushions were worn. We could not adjust the hot tub temp and had to add water to it, felt this should have been done already.. it seemed we were in Bear city. Two nights there were bear marks on our van but luckily no damage. A bear did break the small clasp to the waste can and took the whole trash can down into woods below entrance and it had happened before cause there was trash there when we arrived. Do not like the Ivy that is growing on the trees below the chalet. This is an invasive species and should be removed. Hope this helps. We have always stayed with ML but it seems service has deteriorated. Sincerely James Jolly

The chalet was beautiful and very clean. Very easy to find and plenty of room to park our truck. The young lady’s working in the office were nice-sweet and very helpful. The reason for this visit was to hiked Mt LeConte. Beautiful hike we were out on the trail at day break to beat the crowd. We will definitely be renting from this company again and have told our family and friends.
Thank you Mountain Laurel chalets for the box of jelly-candy-popcorn etc. hopefully be back down in a couple of months for more hiking.

We overall enjoyed our stay and would like to point out a couple of issues. The road leading to the property is horrible. Ascending to the location there is a switchback which at night places you in the headlights of downward traveling vehicles. You are blinded and there is no guard rail or shoulder separating from the steep slope. Another issue is the key pad for the front door lock. It frequently took 4 or 5 attempts to open the door. This was with us using the correct code, one evening standing in the rain. No fun. I contacted management the morning after the rainy night adventure and was told they would have someone check it. She thought the key pad might be misaligned. It would also be helpful if the instructions clearly indicate the locking of the door only requires you to press any number. The last issue is the inside table. It is a small high-top that is barely large enough for two cereal bowls, two coffee cups and two drinking glasses. One morning we ate breakfast on the deck and it was quite nice - but that's only appropriate if the weather permits.

Thanks for the review and we are sorry to hear you had so many issues with the roads and the keyless lock. The route you were given is the shortest. There is another way to get to the cabin but it is twice as long. We regret if there was a misunderstanding with the operation of the lock and will look at changing the instructions. We have stayed at many different properties over the years and this was one of the best. Great for a couple to spend some time together. Its easily accessible from the main roads in Gatlinburg, but built for privacy. The decor inside added to the coziness of the chalet for two.

This is the second time we rented Paradise 1, it’s an aww moment when u enter the chalet. Just the right size for 2. Nicely decorated. Gas fireplace starts with ease and gives the living room the right ambience during cocktail time. Hot tub second floor outside along a short walkway. Another great feature. Small bar upstairs as well as a billiard table if you feel the need for a little competition. Short ride into town where you’ll find everything u need for a great vacation.

That's the beauty of staying in the mountains! You are close enough to downtown to pop down for a nice meal, but able to get away from the noise and traffic with a short 5 minute drive back "home"". This was my wife and I’s 1st Anniversary trip, and we went during the Thick of Covid in 2020, but I have to say that nothing dampened our trip! We had a great time at Paradise Point 1. The Cottage was just perfect for a couple of 2, and it was quite private. We enjoyed the fire place/hot tub/ and all the amenities. The staff was also very accommodating and if there was something missing where they could help...they did. *Only thing I would maybe mention is that the dishwasher leaked a lil at the time, and their could of been some additional work done elsewhere. Nothing too major though.

Best part though besides the great Smokey hikes, Gatlinburg festivities, and Mount Laurel Chalet was The Bears! -My wife and I had 5+ sitings during ‘bear season’ and 3 close encounters. 1 of which was in the backyard!

Can’t wait to come back.

It was our first night, and even though we knew the office was closing in 15min, someone actually came, within 5 min, to light the pilot in the fireplace! The gentleman was nice and even answered a few local questions we had. Only a 5-10min drive to downtown. Bathroom needing dusting. Only bummer is that we didn’t see a bear.

This was our second time here we truly enjoy it it was very nice my only complaints was the bed was harder than the first time we were there, I had a back ache after that. We still had a good time this was mostly a relaxing vacation for us both we loved the peace and quiet. My only suggestion would be is change the bathroom door to a solid one and maybe so hanging drapes for the other open door for the bathroom to help when the other person wants to sleep in while the other person watches tv in the living room. Lastly we both noticed a lot of webs and dust in the fireplace holes and the vent in the bathroom really needs some cleaning. Overall we still enjoy ourselves thanks for everything.

The property was just as described. Decorated beautifully, very clean, and only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the strip. We made arrangements to check in late and the staff made the process incredibly easy. It was an extra nice touch that there were lights on both inside and outside when we arrived. I called with a concern about the hot tub and maintenance arrived within 15 minutes of my call. We will absolutely rent from this company again!

Paradise Point 1 was a nice place to stay for the weekend. It was clean and well decorated. The large windows provided a wonderful view of the trees. It is a little musty and aged. Fortunately the smell is only noticeable for a brief time when you first enter the unit. The property owners should really look at doing some structural repairs. It would be a shame to let such a place go into ruin. The property management team was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We are glad you enjoyed the holiday weekend. The chalet is near a spring, plus we had a very wet summer, so we are working on a solution to handle the extra moisture by installing crawl space ventilation fans. We are confident the musty smell will be a thing of the past very soon!

A beautiful stay in the woods for 2 people. We were very happy to live here for 2 weeks. The staff were extremely helpful with our concerns and were quick to correct our small issues. We will return again. Thank you for our wonderful vacation in our favorite National Park! See you next time.

My boyfriend and I came to Gatlinburg for a long weekend and we were so happy with our stay at Mountain Laurel Chalets. We were happy to be away from the touristy, hustle and bustle of downtown, but we’re only a short 5 minute drive downtown if we wanted to get dinner or walk around the shops. The chalet had everything we needed to enjoy dinners in and the hot tub was a nice addition after our long day of hiking. We can’t wait to come back.

I took my husband here for a long weekend for his birthday. I was a little bit worried because I had never stayed in a one bedroom before, but since it was just us this time I decided to give it a chance. The interior is very updated, clean, and accommodating. It's a little bit strange that there is no door on the bedroom, but everything is well appointed, and it was very comfortable. It was also not too far up the mountain, and had a nice wooded view with a little bit of a mountain view. I'm sure in the winter time or in the fall when there is less leaves, that it would be a great Mountain View. It was very quiet and relaxing.

From all of the pictures this looked like a pretty secluded lot. Far from it. Just above the hot tub is the intersection of two roads. I was constantly worried someone would drive off into the hot tub with us. The position of the hot tub being detached from the house was one of the draws to this property for me. Found out that due to the direction it sits, it can be quite breezy or downright cold to be in. The cabin was beautiful, but it concerned me that the upstairs patio door did not lock. There was a stick to secure the door shut.The glass in the kitchen door was also cracked. The main views were of other cabins, although way in the distance you could catch a glimpse of the mountain. One huge plus to this cabin is its proximity to downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the park.

This chalet is perfectly tucked away slightly up the mountain. Only a few minutes to downtown Gatlinburg & about 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Has a completely secluded feel to it. Perfect getaway weekend for 2!

Great location. Cabin was very clean and the staff were easy to work with. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed our weekend! I would say the cabin is decorated a little 'fancy' rather than 'cozy' cabin feel but overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect location, clean house, and really nice employees!! The only negative thing I would say is that the house gets super humid (there is a dehumidifier but that didn’t seem to work) and the door to the bathroom is glass which was a little odd. All in all, we had a great time and would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was much larger than we expected. The loft pool table and walkway to the hot tub definitely enhanced our stay. We saw a bear the second night of our stay! It was a quick drive to town and close to what we wanted to see in the Smoky Mountains. Our only issue was that glass door in the bathroom. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily stay here again if we were to travel back to Gatlinburg.

We enjoyed our stay with mountain Laurel Chalets. However, if we could have changed anything, it would be to put some kind of door going into the bedroom, for privacy & to block out the morning light. Also, we’ve never stayed at a chalet that had a glass door in the bathroom. Even if you’re honeymooners, which we’re not, there are just some things that require privacy. Aside from those two things, the chalet was very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub & the pool table. Regarding the last question, the only reason I wouldn’t recommend Paradise point is because of the glass bathroom door.

We love the mountains and Mountain Laurel is our go to place. We've never been disappointed. Chalet was clean and well stocked for our stay. We shopped, visited arts & crafts community, local shops & restaurants. We grilled, ate in, enjoyed hot tub & pool table. And did I mention Bears? Seen a total of 8 bears (probably same Mom & cubs) from front deck & from hot tub.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Paradise Point. We were here for our 2-year anniversary and have stayed at several different Mt. Laurel cabins over the past 7-8 years. We've never had a bad experience and this trip was no different. Our first time at Paradise Point, I really enjoyed the 2nd floor walkway to the elevated/covered hot tub. The bed was huge and super comfortable.

Wasn't a huge fan of the bathroom door being completely see-through. Especially when there's only 1 bathroom. Could lead to some potentially awkward moments.

The kitchen area was great, upstairs was nice and enjoyable with a couple games of pool. TV's were nice and the sitting area outside is great. Nice view, semi-secluded but not too far from the Parkway, maybe a 5-6 minute drive. Overall very satisfied!

Cabin was gorgeous and perfect for a couples getaway. Everything was very nice and updated. We loved having the extra space in the loft. Location is convienent to drive down to the main strip in Gatlinburg. We also really enjoyed the pizza parlor right down the road.

every thing was super ...
only thing .. how soon does it take to refund my 300 dollar deposit ...have not seen it. We left that place better than when we left it .. even washed a lot of the towels for you all... want to see this credit back asap.

This was a beautiful cabin my boyfriend and I had an AMAZING time. This cabin was perfect for us. The beds were so comfortable and soft we honestly didnt want to get out of bed each day. I stay with Mt Laurel Every time I come to Gatlinburg and like always we are always VERY Happy with our selection. Thank you for such a beautiful wonderful experience. This was the most perfect private Anniversary. I look forward to the next trip up.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary by staying in a Chalet. We loved the Pool table, enclosed Jacuzzi, and gas fireplace. The Chalet was very spacious. The drive up the mountain was not so bad as we saw steeper driveways. I do recommend bringing an extra blanket to hang over bedroom door, as it gets very bright in the morning. Also the chalet had a faint odor when you arrive, I think it is coming from underneath the cabin.

My wife and I stayed here over the 4th of July holidays and felt as if we were home. This place is really nice and cozy. Was equipped with everything that was needed to get by. I recommend staying longer than 4 days though. Kudos to the owner and the property management team. Will definitely stay again.

The house was great! It was exactly like the pictures! The AC wasn't working when we got there but the repairman arrived quickly and had it fixed promptly. The roads also closed due to road work and we had to take a long detour to and from the couse. Besides these two things, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this place to friends/family. We may even stay here again in the future and will definitely be using Mountain Laurel Chalets for our next Gatlinburg trip.

We had the best mini getaway staying at Paradise Point I! We came just to get away from the stressors of daily life and it was the best medicine. The accommodations were immaculate and very comfortable. It doesn't have much of a view, but I was perfectly fine with it considering I hate being too far up in the mountains (I have to keep my eyes closed while my husband drives...those sharp bends and drop offs make me nervous) I've already recommended it to a few of our friends.

The only suggestion I would make is to put a rug inside the front door. It was rainy while we were there and I felt guilty walking straight onto the carpet with wet shoes. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing!

We enjoyed out stay! The only complaints is the lack of door from the bedroom to the living area- it's not a huge problem if you are an early riser but the sunlight shining in is super bright and make it difficult to sleep in. Also needs some real glasses, all they had were goblet type glasses and weren't practical. The shower water builds up in the tub as well. Pros were everything you need pool table, fireplace, pleanty of space for two. Wooded and nice area but would be difficult to get to if it snowed even with a four wheel drive. Close to Gatlinburg but still secluded enough. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Owners please consider adding sliding barn doors in between bedroom and living space. That would make a huge difference.

We did enjoy our stay. Check in was very quick and the staff were very friendly. The bed could use a new matress and a broom for sweeping the deck would have made for a better stay. The chalet was close enough to the city for ease of dining out yet high enough in the mountain where it was quiet. We really loved how close it was to the Park Entrance....very nice after doing some light hiking and ready for soaking in the hot tub.

Huge, comfortable chalet with all the amenities you could ask for (dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc.) Couple quirks -- the door to the bathroom is glass, there is no door to the bedroom, and we would have liked a real dining table instead of the little high top. But the weather was beautiful for sunrise breakfast outside on the deck. Location is PERFECT (close to the park, close to town but not in town) and staff is great. We'll be back.

The process for reserving the cabin was super easy and quick. My husband and I stayed at Paradise Point 1. The cabin had been renovated recently and is gorgeous! The king size bed was super comfortable. The furniture is also updated. The hot tub was nice but we didn't really use it as we were there in August. The only downside- the bathroom is located in the bedroom which is normal and fine.... However, the door is clear glass. Lol. I'm really comfortable with my husband but there are just some things that should stay private in the bathroom. Mt Laurel-please put a small set of blinds or a curtain on the door! We would definitely come back to stay with both the company and at the cabin.

The experience I had with Mountain Laurel Chalets and the Paradise Point 1 chalet was excellent. The chalet was clean and cozy and my girlfriend and I had a great couple of nights there. Very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg yet quiet and private. The only gripe I would have is the access to an emergency kit. Our power was knocked out the last night we were there and a couple of flashlights would have been great. We had flashlights on our phones though so it wasn't a big deal. Great mini getaway and I would recommend this group to anyone.

The cabin is exactly as pictured and in great condition. I was very happy I picked such a nice place. Simple and unique I'd probably stay there again. There are a few people around you but the tree coverage is good so it doesn't make much of a difference. Great location and close to Gatlinburg but you have to drive up a decent size hill to get to the cabin.

The main office was easy to find and the staff was extremely helpful! Our chalet was just a short drive up the mountain, and secluded enough that had privacy, but were close enough to the main drag if we wanted to visit. We were close to all of the major trails and not far from the grocery store. The chalet itself was clean. The only problem was the door to the upstairs was ajar letting hot air in, so it was a little stuffy upstairs. The hot tub also suddenly stopped working. But overall, it was a wonderful experience!
