Beautiful home and location with great amenities and great view. The house could have used to work on the outside but didn’t matter to us! It was super clean and gorgeous inside and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

We stayed here two years ago and enjoyed it so much that we came back to you this time. Our only recommendation is that you might want to update the sofa. It’s not very comfortable to sit in after a while. Also, we couldn’t help but notice the plug behind the refrigerator looks like a potential hazard to any kids there. We like sleeping in the loft, simply because of the view. Most likely we will be back again!

My Daughter and I had a wonderful time at Sweet One for 3 nights. The hot tub was wonderful and very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. The fires we had in the fireplace were such a joy. We will definitely stay there again!

The little chalet was nice but it definitely needed some updates done to it the bed was comfy the couch needed replaced you could tell that it had been used a lot the hot tub was great nice and warm everything was there that we needed overall it was very nice and clean the driveway was a little steep with a few potholes they needed some gravel in there we got to see Bears every day while we were there which was pretty cool the weather was great for us overall the people were very nice to us

We had a wonderful time. But the property could use a lot of TLC. Moss growing on the entrance way railing. The couch is way outdated. The description of the property says it has a Keurig coffee maker so I bought some .when we arrived it was a normal coffee maker.

Rickie--thank you for your feedback. The moss creates a cottage feel but we will make sure it does not cause a safety issue. We do not have a Kuerig listed with this home and we are not sure if you might have seen that on another home's are sorry for any confusion. Our office is located just a mile or so away and we would be happy to address any concerns you have during your stay. The owners do pay close attention to reviews and take great pride in their home. Our stay was nice. Cabin was clean. All plugs worked, but need more for electronics to charge. Check-in was easy, as was check-out. Sheets need to be large enough to fit the mattress. Housekeeping forgot to plug in the hot tub so we missed out on using it the first night because we were afraid to plug it in. We called for assistance, but nobody would answer the phone on Friday, October 22nd at 5:45pm-6:00pm. That problem was corrected the next day.

I am so glad we were able to address the power to the breaker on the hot tub the next day and we are sorry that the after hours call did not work for that brief time. We can look into why that may have happened. We like our guests to know we are a call away when concerns arise and I am sorry we were able to fix that immediately.

Loved how accommodating and cozy the A frame was... perfect fir a getaway of just the two of us fir an Anniversary trip. The hot tub was a great bonus to relax in after a day of adventures and beautiful sights.... The home had everything we needed for our 3 nights stay. This place was super cute & cozy! My family enjoyed the secluded quiet with a scenic ride down the mountain to town. I'd definitely rent the cabin again. Things to know - bring beach towels, make sure your car can get up steep hills, & get groceries @ the one grocery store in town upon arrival. The main downtown can be a traffic jam and getting to the other side of town for food can be a headache. Sidenote, we were comfortable but couldn't figure out if the alarm system box was the temp control box (for those picky ones out there). Good internet & functioning kitchen appliances. This cabin is rustic & filled with basic cookware, etc. This cabin is perfect for a small family with kids who'll share a bed or one sleep on the couch or a couple looking for a special weekend alone.

Yes! Sweet One is such a cozy chalet that is perfect to enjoy a relaxing time with others in the mountains. As you said, it is great for small families, or even for two couples to get away. Beach towels are a great thing to bring if you plan on enjoying one of the pools during the warmer months. It is good to know that you enjoyed your stay in Gatlinburg, despite the traffic; we would love to have you stay again sometime soon!

We spent about a week here for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was everything we wanted and more. Such a cute little place! We would definitely stay again! Close to downtown but not too close and perfect to take the bypass to pigeon forge!

This place is so so cute! Absolutely perfect for a couple to get away! Not far from downtown or the by pass to pigeon forge! Loved the deck and how quaint the chalet was! We even had a few bears come visit us! Would definitely stay again!

We needed down time away from work, and didn't want to stay at a motel, so decided to look at Mountain Laurel Chalets. It's not fancy, not overly rustic. We actually slept in the loft area which had a great view of the sunrise and could look out the large window overlooking the other side of the house. Nice galley kitchen. Was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of paper goods, when we really didn't expect it. If you are expecting luxury and super strong shower, this house is not for you. But, if you want a place just for the 2 of you, it's really nice. Nice deck to sit and watch the stars, lights way down below, and just visit with each other. Good parking area. Also, discovered Ski Mountain Pizza on the way up to the house and it's really good. Hope to be back again! Thank you for a restful stay.

This was exactly what we wanted: a small cabin high in the mountain with a hot tub and beautiful views. It was perfect for our family of 4 (we have 2 boys under 10). Everything was clean and well stocked. Close to attractions, but really felt away from the craziness as well. We would love to come back here again.

Sweet One was charming and comfortable; plus, it was surround by beautiful views. The oven was not working during my trip, and I was not alerted to this, which was a little irritating since I had meal planned around it, but I made due. Other than that, everything was perfect--clean, functioning, fantastic.

Thanks for the review and we regret the oven did not work during your stay. The knobs have been on order since just prior to your stay. An email explaining this disruption was sent to all guests arriving after 3/9 until the middle of April, when we are hoping to receive the parts. Booking the cabin was easy as well as the check in process. The cabin itself was pretty dated and well-worn, and hasn’t been freshened up in several years. The hot tub was nice but only set at 100 degrees, cooling off within minutes, and the chlorine was very strong. Could still smell it after two showers. all in all it was a good stay, just over priced for a cabin of its vintage.

Thanks for the review and we appreciate your feedback. All of our cabins are accurately represented in photos on the website so our guests will know exactly what to expect. Our cabins are priced according to size, amenities, view and furnishings and the price of Sweet One is in ine with comparable chalets on our program. We will take a look at the temperature reading of the hot tub and make sure it maintains 104 degrees. We use bromine as the sanitizer in the hot tubs. It is distributed through a floating filter that stays in the tub, but the floater can be adjusted to lessen the amount of chemical in the water if you feel like it is to much. We hope you will consider giving us another try the next time you visit the Smokies.

The chalet was just as advertised. Very nice for an older couple or younger couple with a child or 2.

I did not know that this would be our last trip to Gatlinburg. I knew that my wife had been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, but we were told she could expect 5 good years. She was weak on August 24th when we left Newberry, but she wanted to go. we got to the Sweet One and I unpacked everything. Went down for snacks and a sub sandwich for supper. We ate when I got back and we got in the hot tub. Next morning we went down to The Pancake Pantry for breakfast. We went back to the chalet to relax. Later on we decided to go to the Texas Roadhouse for supper (it was our anniversary). Wednesday morning my wife wanted to go shoe shopping at Tanger Outlets. We got her some skeckers. Then off to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream. We ended up back at the chalet and enjoyed the hot tub. We had to leave Thursday morning to get by to Newberry. On the 28th of August, I took my wife for immunotherapy. I chain of events happened and I lost my wife on Sept. 3rd. Thank you Mountain Laurel Chalet for always providing nice facilities to stay in. Your business will always be cherished.

We had a wonderful time at this chalet. I didn't realize it would be our last anniversary together. My wife passed away September 3rd of small cell cancer. We did everything she wanted to do in Gatlinburg. We ate breakfast at the Pancake Pantry the morning of Aug. 25 (our anniversary), took a little dip in the hot tub afterwards. We ate a good steak at the Texas Roadhouse in Pigeon Forge that evening. We went to Tanger Outlets in Sevierville on the 26th for a little shoe shopping and Ben & Jerry's ice cream, then back in the hot tub for awhile back at the Chalet. Mountain Laurel chalets will always hold a special place in my heart. We were family 1st members and always stayed with you folks everytime we came to Gatlinburg. Thank you for all the memories.

Perfect for a couple looking for a getaway.. Only problem was the hot tub was a bit cold and the shower walls were pretty sticky and grimey along with the stone floor.. just wear slippers and don’t touch the shower walls, all easy fixes and nothing that ruined my stay. Highly recommend- I wanted to stay more nights but they were booked!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very clean, comfortable bed, and enjoyed the New Year's fireworks from the deck. We wanted a quite, relaxing New Year's and that's exactly what we got. We laid on the sofa and watched lots of tv. The ride up the mountain is challenging --the road need side rails--glad we didn't venture out much.

This is the perfect little getaway cabin. Comes with EVERYTHING except food.. Had a momma bear and her 3 cubs show up at our front lawn. We watched thru the door window as 2 of the cubs played and pulled at each other. What a beautiful site. Still was careful when we stepped out to dinner later that day. I highly recommend this place... Oh, and the staff is amazing too!!!!!

Our cabin was clean and stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen utensils. When you walk thou out the cabin the floors would creak and pop, this gave character. We used one of the swimming pools that was near by and on the way there we came across a black bear and her four cubs running down the road. This made my wife's trip. The only negative thing was the outdoor grill did not work looking inside it should have been replaced over a year ago. We would rent this cabin again if we visited this area in the future.

Just an overall nice cabin. Not big, not too small, just perfect. Great wrap around deck that was nice to relax on with coffee in the morning. The floor to ceiling window offered a nice view, and the fireplace kept us warm at night. Would reccomend for 2 - 4 people. Will be back someday

This is the perfect place for a relaxing get away. Only minutes from the sights and sounds of gatlinburg strip yet set atop the mountain with nothing to obstruct your view or interrupt your solitude. We had a fabulous weekend and the cabin was great! If you plan to cook, make sure to bring salt, pepper and any other type of spice or sugar, so you don't have to buy everything at the store. This was probably our over site however, we ate out so wasn't a problem. Make sure to lock your vehicle doors, a bear got into our car the last morning. Luckily no damage or mud, the two doors on the driver side were standing open with a little paw print on the side.

This was a spur of the moment thing that turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The views are outstanding and the cabin was very cozy, the bed in the loft was very comfortable. I would have to say this was the most relaxing time of our trip. Also the staff at Mountain Laurel Chalets were very nice and very helpful we will definitely be back.

We planned a mini getaway with the kids over spring break the first week of April. We were hoping to stay in Paradise Point I since we've stayed there before but it was already booked. Suite One is cozy and charming and the kids thought the loft was the best! The cabin was rustic chic, but very clean and provided every amenity we needed and more. We made dinner in one night and had plenty of pots, pans and utensils to choose from. The beds were very comfortable too. The weather didn't cooperate as well as we had hoped, but we were able to hike up to Laurel Falls before the rain set in and we walked the Parkway and played a round of HillBilly Golf as well. We only booked 2 nights but it wasn't enough to get in everything we wanted to do so we definitely plan on visiting again soon!

We had the best time at Suite One. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Beds were super comfortable and lots of blankets were available. The chalet is fairly secluded and really close to the Gatlinburg strip. We look forward to our next trip and will book Suite One again.

Great cabin, with great views (I stayed in winter). Love being on Ski Mountain, and I always know with Mountain Laurel, it will be clean, and a great hot tub. Loft had an amazing view as well. A+

My husband and I brought our 3 and 4 yr olds to stay at Suite One for 2 nights. They had a blast sleeping in the loft, and we all enjoyed the large windows in the family room and fireplace. The house has great character, even the creakiness in the floor. We had plenty of pillows, blankets, and linens, and everything was clean.

Last minute trip to enjoy snow in our beloved GSM with picturesque cabin and setting, wonderful views, nice amenities, all within city limits so well maintained roads, professional family friendly staff. Enjoyed our longtime favorite restaurants, Peddler, Howard’s, Crockett’s. Also, this cabin is close to Park entrance and not too far from outlet mall in Pigeon Forge. It was very nice and pleasant, very quite and peaceful yet is was only a few minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and Smokey mountain park. The bed mattresses could have been a bit more comfortable but we were so tired from all of our activities we still got a good night sleep

This was our 3rd trip to Gatlinburg and our second time using Mt. Laurel Chalets. Highly recommend them, customer service is outstanding. Suite One was just as expected. Quite and relaxing. Perfect getaway for my husband and I. Cabin was clean and well-maintained. Mostly had breakfast there then went into Gatlinburg to have a late lunch/early dinner. Just two of us, didn't cook much. One of out favorite restaurants is Best Italian, highly recommend them. I would definitely recommend this cabin and most definitely recommend Mt. Laurel Chalets.

I'm hoping to do a double couple trip someday just to show other people this place. The Smoky Mountain was my favorite part but the town of Gatlinburg is also really fun for the family and couples!

Just the right place for a quiet getaway to relax... close to Gatlinburg but yet away enough to get away from it all. The refrigerator was getting to the end of its life but other than that the Chalet was clean and in good order- also access to 3 clubhouses was great for swimming with the hot summer days.

Great location close and above Gatlingburg. I will never stay in pigeon forge again after this location. Chalet was old but is just what we were looking for. We even had a few instances to witness a bear in the front yard. Sits just above ober battling burg. Very quick trip to downtown gattlingburg

Very nice place. Love the wood burning fireplace. Due to the sloped ceilings, it is not a place for tall people. Hot tub and deck are extra nice. Not too far from downtown Gatlinburg.

Very happy with our first experience with Mountain Laurel Chalets. We have stayed with many other companies in the past and Mountain Laurel Chalets is top notch.
Suite One was perfect for us, it's location was exactly what we wanted, it's very convenient to gatlinburg, and yes, you're high up, the ciew is great.
Many other cabins we've stayed in are crammed right near another cabin - Suite One isn't like this, it sits alone on a finger of the Mountain so it feels more private.
We liked our stay so much we're coming back for another stay a month later!

The location was private and nice view. Yard large enough for kids to enjoy. Plenty of room of balcony and weather was nice enough to enjoy. It was only a short distance to travel to the shops on the strip and nice to return to a quiet location.

This chalet is very nice you are close to gatlinburg . The view is breath taken . This was my first vacation rental and I was very pleased. I was not bugged from the retal company during my stay . The property was very clean and every thing was easy to find . You have dishes and every thing you need to cook with. The beds where very comfortalbe and cozy . The deck and hot tub was very clean and cozy. The bath was very nice and the water in the shower was hot . I was very pleased with this chalet.

Cute cabin, we would stay here again. The one thing to keep in mind is the driveway- it's in a turn and it is much steeper than it appears from the pictures. Otherwise, great property. The view was fantastic and the cabin was clean. The hot tub was perfect to relax and view the stars! I recommend getting your own wood for the fire place, the wood provided was too wet to burn. The place is well maintained, great cabin features with wood in-laid ceiling and the stairs. Great atmosphere.

Location is great and the kitchen was very clean too and had everything you need minus a can opener. Loved everything about the chalet minus the bathroom. It needs a lot of work and the shower really needs some better cleaning and work. I will stay here again provided the bathroom is in better condition. Overall, it was a great time and the sauna very clean too!

My fiance and I loved our 3-night stay here! The cabin was clean, quaint, and had a great view. Our only real complaint is that the pots/pans are in need of replacing/upgrading. They are not non-stick (at least not anymore), so cooking was quite the adventure. Overall, though, we were very happy and would stay here again!

Cabin was nice and in a great location but need televisions in bedrooms. Had some issues with hot tub controls not functioning as they should. Maintenance was very helpful and showed up in a timely manner. Other than that, everything was great. Will definitely consider staying on our next vacation.

Suite I off of Sky View was a wonderful accommodation for us. It was a very quiet and a restful atmosphere. The deck with hot tub was a welcomed treat after long walks, shopping, and site seeing during the day. We were also able to enjoy a great breakfast at the Log Cabin Pancake House. The view from our chalet was tremendous. Very accommodating and friendly staff. We would highly recommend this chalet and would stay there again.

Loved the privacy and decor. Hardwoods were gorgeous and so much like a mountain get away. Bed was comfy and slept very well. Two bedroom options was nice. Huge deck and secluded lot and view. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Like that it is so close to downtown Gatlinburg but seems like miles away with how quiet it was.

Every thing was good but the refrigerator had a ready bad smell they didn't clean it good bottom tray had all the smell under it they didn't take it out to clean that would stop smell it was like that when we got there but we was gone all the time we didn't open it much if we did it would make you sick but we finally look at the problem before leaving and told them at desk when checking out
