It’s December which means, SNOW!
Snow on these mountains is always beautiful but can also be very dangerous. All of MLC’s chalets and cabins are located on the mountain which means the roads to each unit can be very steep, narrow and curvy. It’s REQUIRED that guests bring snow chains or a reliable vehicle with 4 wheel drive.
What makes Mountain Laurel Chalets so convenient is that all of the cabins/chalets on the program are located within 5 miles or less from the the Parkway in Gatlinburg, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort. Based on winter road conditions, location and amenities here are 11 rentals most convenient for winter:

All of the suggested units are within 2 miles or less from the ski resort and have easy road access. They all also have either a gas or wood burning fireplace to cozy up to after a day of playing in the snow.
